Ines' father was Cesare Fornara and her mother was Amalia Ferrini. Her paternal grandparents were Carlo Fornara and Elisabetta Aghina; her maternal grandparents were Francesco Ferrini and <Unknown>. She had two sisters named Ines and Irene. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died from cancer, Lung cancer, in 1993.²
