Joseph was born on September 28th, 1932.  Joseph's father was Carlo DiPietro and his mother was Maria "Mary" Rao.  His maternal grandparents were Carmelo "Carmine" Rao and Pasqua "Pasqualina" Pensabene. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Salvatore, Carmino, Carlo "Carl", Pasqualina, Annette, Theresa and Margherite.  He died at the age of 17 on September 16th, 1950.
