Samuel GILLETT

Samuel was born on June 9th, 1839 in Handsworth, Yorkshire, England. Samuel's father was Joshua Hague GILLETT and his mother was Mary BUTTERLY. His maternal grandparents were John BUTTERLY and Millicent CHARLESWORTH. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named John, Thomas, Mark, Joshua, Ann, Jane, Elizabeth, Maria, Mary, Sarah, Emma and Ellen. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 49 on December 24th, 1888 in Tooele, Utah, USA.
