Christine M. was born in 1854.  Christine M.'s father was John LENTS and her mother was Christina SPALDING.  Her maternal grandparents were James Ignatius SPALDING and Julia Ann MONTGOMERY.  She had four brothers and eight sisters, named James T., Albert Edward, George R., John G., Julia Ann, Eliza, Catherine, Pamela, Emily, Lucretia, Martha and Mary L..  She was the eleventh oldest of the thirteen children.
