    There is a 29 Oct 1940 NY Southern District naturalization petition from Gitel Bulkin (aka Katie Bulkin, entered U.S. under name Lider), widow of David Bulkin b. est. 1878 Russia, m. 12 Jun 1930, nat. 21 Jun 1906, certif no. 9230.
    
    Note:  This record is problematic.  The children Bessie and Bernard cannot have been born in Russia after they arrived in U.S., see dates on original record.  Note that the two children b. < 1910 do not appear with David and Sadie in 1910 (adopted?).
    
    In this 1920 census record, David is living next to (sis-in-law) Gussie (Bulkin) Fishkind but with a wife named Sadie, who is not a match for Katie/Gittel (cf. date on Katie's naturalization petition above and Sadie's reported 1908 naturalization below).

    in Russia, arrived in U.S. 1901, naturalized in 1908; four children:  son Matthew, age 15 (est birth year
    1904), born Russia, arrived in U.S. 1911 (NB), naturalized in 1908; daughter Bessie, age 13 (est birth year 1907), born Russia, arrived in U.S. 1911 (NB), naturalized in 1908; son Joseph, age 9 years 6 months, (est birth month Aug 1910), born New York; and daughter Rachel, age 7 years and (9?) months, est birth year 1912), born New York.  Immediate neighbors at 27 Mountain Ave. are Joseph/Gussie FISHKIND [sic], age 65/66, born Russia/New York, three children:  daughter Leonora age 27 single, stenographer, water company, b. NY; daughter Judith 25 single, milliner, b. NY; and son Lenard 17 single, b. NY.
