Boyd Gray - 1st Kilrea Presbyterian Church This man is known locally as the leader of the Kilrea District Orange Lodges when they were first allocated lodge numbers. My 'cousin' John Gordon of The Meen told me this.
We now have two Thomas Gordons born to a James, one in 1831 and one in 1832, the former to a Martha and the latter to a Mary.
On the naming conventions evidence, I think that Orange Thomas, the man who married Mary Jane Gamble, is the son of James and MARY, not James and Martha because he names his first daughter Mary and only has a Martha much later on, probably named for his sister. So, I have altered my tree – and we are “cousins” again, Jim!!
