He was born in Scotland and came to the United States many years ago, settling in Homestead. He belonged to the Improved Order of Red Men and the Presbyterian church. He is survived by five 'sons: Peter, of Alaska; James, of Scotland; John, of Cleveland; Walker, of Homestead, and George, of Munhall, and one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Knight, of Homestead.
