Educated Carbrook Street School, Paisley, and Univ. of Glasgow. Licensed by Presbytery of Paisley in 1889, assistant at St. George's Parish, Paisley. Ordained 15 Sep 1897.
Minister of Kinglassie Parish at time of wedding (Dec. 1897).
