      Reid married LeNora Butterfield in 1879 and she gave birth to a daughter Lillian in 1883, who was raised with Charles. The family moved to Great Falls, Montana. Lillian later attended school in Detroit, Mi where she met a young physician, Benaja Henri Leonard. They married and had a son Philip Taylor Leonard. Dr. Leonard died suddenly in 1918 and Lillian moved back to Great Falls, Montana to raise her son with her parents and step brother Charles.
      
      

  He died at the age of 67 on July 10th, 1982 in Florida.
