John Thomson

John was born on March 22nd, 1737 in Dunfermline and his baptism took place there on March 31st, 1737.¹   John's father was James Thomson and his mother was Margaret Mudie. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert, James, Margaret, Charlot and Janet.  He was the third oldest of the six children.
