Iona W. Ray 
Iona was born in May 1890 in Pennsylvania.1 Iona's father was Samuel Wray and her mother was Katherine (Kate) Armstrong. Her paternal grandparents were William Wray and Rachel Simpson. She had two brothers and two sisters, named George, Harry, Elizabeth and Mary. She was the third oldest of the five children.-
