John Meek

John was born in 1857 in Edinkillie.¹² John's father was David Meek and his mother was Grace Lawson. His paternal grandparents were John Meek and Jane White. He had three brothers and a sister, named David, Thomas, Robert and Jane. He was the oldest of the five children.
