Jeanie was born on April 15th, 1856 in Greenock. Jeanie's father was James McClymont and her mother was Agnes Shaw. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Shaw and Jean Scoffield. She had a brother and two sisters, named William, Annie and Jeanie. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died at 1 months old on May 31st, 1856 in Greenock.-
