Sarah Manson

Sarah was born in 1877 in Newton-on-Ayr.¹ Sarah's father was John Manson and her mother was Elizabeth Aird Aitken. Her maternal grandparents were John Aitken and Margaret Aird. She had two sisters named Maggie and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the three children.
