Anne's father was William Louden and her mother was Julian Johnston.  Her maternal grandparents were John Johnston and Julian Gillis. She had a brother named John.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died at the age of 73 in 1898 in Ratho.  She was buried in Ratho.^3 3
