James Howie Galt

James was born on September 11th, 1877 in Gorbals and his baptism took place on October 7th, 1877 in Glasgow.^1 2

James' father was Robert Galt and his mother was Isabella Drummond.  His maternal grandparents were Michael Drummond and Isabella Dunn. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Gabriel, William, John, Robert, Isabella, Maggie and Isabella.  He was the youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 23 on December 3rd, 1900 in Glasgow.  He was buried on December 5th, 1900 in Glasgow.
