Janet's father was William Drumond and her mother was Mary Tours.  Her maternal grandparents were Michaill Towrs and Agnes Stewart. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named James, William, William, Michael, Agnes, Agnes, Helen, Mary, Margaret, Margaret and Elisabeth.
