Myrtle Ivy Druce Ewart Age 90, of brooklyn,passed away Friday,Sept 19,2008 at Arbor Woods Assisted Living. She was born on October 10,1917 in Canada, the daughter of Alfred and Myrtle Druce. Myrtle married James T. Ewart om April 5,1941 in Detroit and he survies. She enjoyed animals,gardening,knotting, crocheting,and spending time with her family. Besides her husband,Mrs. Ewart is survived by her children,Rollie (Jeannie) of Traverse City and Elaine (Jack) Shaw of Belleville; four grandchildren, Josh,Ryan,Jarrod,and Mikaela; four great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law,Mary Jane (Don) Dean of Oakland,CA. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Borek Jennings Funeral Home,Braun Chapel. Interment Jefferson Cemetary. Memorial contributions may be made to your local Humane Society.
