Mary Bond

Mary was born on April 19th, 1759 in Ayr and her baptism took place there on April 22nd, 1759 conducted by Mr. Robert Ferguson.¹   Mary's father was James Bone and her mother was Janet Duncan. She had two brothers and five sisters, named William, David, Ann, Jane, Marry, Margaret and Elisabeth.  She was the oldest of the eight children.
