David Aitkine

David was born in 1678 in Kirkliston and his baptism took place there on November 17th, 1678.  David's father was John Aikman and his mother was Agnes Bapty. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, John, Thomas and Janet.  He was the second oldest of the five children.
