Sir Alexander Bruce

Alexander was born in 1530 in Airth.

Alexander's father was Robert Bruce and his mother was Janet Forrester. His paternal grandparents were Robert Bruce and Euphame Montgomery; his maternal grandparents were William Forrester and Agnes Graham. He was an only child. He died at the age of 70 in 1600.

General Notes
- The lands of Kinaird were in the hands of Sir Alexander Bruce before 1581. Sir Alexander's 2nd son (by Janet Livingstone), Mr. Robert Bruce was the first of a new family of Bruce's of Kinnaird. source "The Lands and Lairds of Larbert & Dunipace Parishes", John C.
