Gunnar Svendsen (Forberg) (Gunder) 
Gunnar was born on August 17th, 1827 in Bø, Norway.1 Gunnar's father was Svein Nirisen and his mother was Guro Gunnarsdtr. (Sanda). His paternal grandparents were Niri Eriksen (Pladsen) and Margrit Sveinsdtr (Åse); his maternal grandparents were Gunnar Gunnarson and Gunhild Tjøstolvsdtr. (Sanda). He had a brother named Niri. He was the older of the two children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Torbjørn, Kittil, Kjøstolv and Torbjørg. He died about 1892 in United States.1 - General Notes
