Jane was born on October 10th, 1835 in Whitby, North Yorkshire, England and her baptism took place on October 16th, 1835 in St. Mary's Parish.1  Jane's father was Joseph Thrush ROBINSON and her mother was Sarah COULTHIRST.  Her paternal grandparents were John ROBINSON (Barber) and Elizabeth Catherine KIRTON; her maternal grandparents were John COULTHIRST and Elizabeth GLAVES. She had three brothers and four sisters, named JOHN, Joseph, Thomas, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Sarah and Sarah.  She was the fifth oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 63 in 1898 in Middlesborough, Yorkshire UK.
