James Patton Preston

James Patton was born in 1774. James Patton's father is Nathaniel Hart Jr and his mother was Susannah Preston. His paternal grandparents were Gov Nathaniel Gray Hart and Sarah Simpson; his maternal grandparents were Col William Preston and Susannah Smith. He has two brothers and a sister, named Thomas Lewis, William Preston and Louisiana Breckinridge. He is the oldest of the four children.
