Will   Long Fellow, Capt. Young Will was born in 1744 in Tomatly, Cherokee Nation, North Carolina.  Will   Long Fellow, Capt. Young Will's father was Col William Emory (Cherokee) and his mother was Mary Grant (Ani'-Gil�'hi = Twisters, Braids, or Long Hair Clan (Mary Grant)).  His paternal grandparents were John Emery Amory Emory and Sarah poss cherokee Wilson; his maternal grandparents were Baronet Ludovic of Dalvey Grant (Cherokee) and Eughioote Elizabeth Tassel Coody (Ani'-Gil�'hi = Twisters, Braids, or Long Hair Clan (Mary Grant)). He had two brothers and four sisters, named Drury, Abraham, Mary, Elizabeth, Susannah and Susannah Onodutu.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 44 in 1788 in Chota, City of Refuge, Cherokee Nation, Tennessee.
