William Zane

William was born on April 16th, 1752 in Mt. Pleasant, Gloucester Co., NJ. William's father was Robert Zane and his mother was Mary Chattin. His paternal grandparents were Robert Zane and Jane Satterwaite; his maternal grandparents are Abraham Chattin and Grace Miles. He had three brothers named Nathan, Simeon Simon and Chattin. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 72 on May 8th, 1824 in Gloucester County, NJ.
