Daniel was born in 1749.  Daniel's father was Pvt Johann Adam Butler's Rangers Young and his mother is Catherine Elizabeth Schremling.  His paternal grandparents are Theobald Young (Jung) and unk; his maternal grandparents are Schremling and <Unknown>. He had four brothers named Henry, Abraham, Joseph and John.  He died at the age of 87 in 1836.
