        Hello Cindy,
    
        The following are the children of Charles Wilson b. early 1700s and Mary
        Weems/Wemyss b. early 1700s. We believe that Charles was born in the
        Colonies; but, we are not sure of Mary. She either came directly from the
        Castle Wemyss in Scotland or was first generation born in the Colonies.
    
        Charles and Mary lived in a county that later became York which later became
        Adams. Without checking my early map of PA, I think the first county was
        Cumberland. Ultimately, they all lived in or near what is now Gettysburg,
        PA.
    
        We have the Will of Charles Wilson so we know that he died in 1780.
    
        The Children were:
    
        Robert Wilson b. 1749/50; d. 1815, Mt. Joy, Adams Co., PA; m. Mary (?) Smith
        b. PA
        Charles Wilson b. 1751; d. 1826; m. Esther Smith (sister of Robert's wife)
        Anne Wilson b. 1750; d. 1838; m. William Bigham
        Thomas Wilson b. 1763; d. 1844; m. Agnes Scott
        John Wilson Unknown
        James Wilson Unknown
        Elizabeth Wilson Unknown
        Mary Wilson Unknown

        From the Will of Robert Wilson, the following children are known. We are
        not sure of the first name of Robert's wife. A descendant of Charles Wilson
        b. 1751, believes it was Mary.
        I have some letters to my g, grandmother Clara Jane (Worrell) Roley that
        have suggested two other names; but, definitely said that one of their
        daughters was named after her mother..
    
        These are the children of Robert Wilson and Mary (?) Smith in birth
        order,(my line)
    
        John Wilson b. (?after 1770); d. (?-could be 1849) m. Jane Bedall (Beadle)
        b. 1810/11. It does appear that John was much older than Jane so she could
        have been a 2nd wife. (This is my line.)
    
        Margaret Wilson m. William Stevenson
    
        Charles Wilson m.(?). I know from letters that he at least had a son Hiram
        b. 1831; and was dead before the birth of his son Charles b. 1833.
    
        Mary Ann Wilson m. Thomas Dunwoddy
        William Wilson
        Elizabeth Wilson m. Francis L. Kelly
        Sarah Wilson
        Jane Wilson
        Esther Wilson
        Levi Wilson
        Charlotte Wilson
        Nancy Wilson

        Following are the children of Charles Wilson and Esther Smith:
    
        William Wilson b. 1781
        Charles Wilson b. 1782
        James Wilson b. 1784
        Margaret Wilson b. 1785
        Mary Wilson b. 1787
        Ann Wilson b. 1789
        Esther Wilson b. 1790
        Elizabeth Wilson b. 1793
        John Wilson b. 1797 These last two children were to wife #2
        Robert Wilson b. 1799
    
        I do have the names for some of the spouses; but, I am trying to be brief.

        Children of Thomas Wilson and Agnes Scott:
    
        Charles, John, Nancy, Thomas, Robert, Elizabeth, William, and Asceaneth.
        Thomas left the state of PA and went either to IN or Ohio, I think.

        I have heard that maybe some of the children may have gone South to live.
        We have never found descendants of James, John, Elizabeth, or Mary who were
        the children of Charles Wilson and Mary Weems/Wemyss.
    
        Is any of the above helpful to you? I have heard of a Joseph Wilson from
        York/Adams Co. and we have wondered if he were a brother of Charles Wilson.
