Betsy  (Elizabeth) LENNI LENAPE -Delaware was born in 1797 in Northwest Territory, that is, the present State of Ohio.  Betsy  (Elizabeth) LENNI LENAPE -Delaware's father was Mr head chief, a principal chief of the Turtle Tribe of the Delawares Ta-whe-la-la (Catch Me) Ketchum and her mother was last wife Ahkechelungunaqua.  Her paternal grandparents were Ketchum and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>. She had two brothers and a sister, named Lapahnihe (Big Bear), Queshatowha (John) and Aukeelenqua (Nancy). She had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named Charles, James Kock-Kockquas, <Unknown>, sons became famous scouts and guides for western-bound wagon trains, <Unknown>, <Unknown> and poss 2nd d Nancy.  She died at the age of 78 in 1875 in Muncie, Wyandotte Township, Wyandotte County, Kansas.
