Chief George Washington Welch

George Washington was born about 1798. George Washington's father was David Welch and his mother was Elizabeth Mc Swain (mixed). His maternal grandparents were Alexander MC TRADER Swain and Nancy Nannie Downing (Ani'-Wa'ya = Wolf Clan). He had two sisters named Elizabeth Jane and Sidney. He was the oldest of the three children. He died on March 20th, 1840 in Cherokee Co., GA.
