John was born on April 29th, 1711.  John's father was Capt Thomas Walker and his mother was Susannah Peachy.  His paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had a brother and a sister, named Thomas  preceding Daniel Boone by thirteen years 1750 and Mary Peachy.  He was the second oldest of the three children.
