Auke was born in 1741.  Auke's father is Jacobus Vorhees and his mother is Maria unk.  His paternal grandparents are Jan Stevense Van Vorhees and Femmejte Auke Van Nuys. He had a sister named Martha.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 58 in 1799.
