John De was born about 1342.  John De's father was Earl Robert De of Suffolk Ufford and his mother is Margaret Norwich.  His paternal grandparents were Lord Robert De of Ufford Ufford (d'Ufforde) and Cecily De Valoines; his maternal grandparents are unk Norwich and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert De, Thomas De, William De, Walter De, Catherine De, Cecilia De, Joan De and Margaret De.  He died about 1375.
