Capt Mordecai Throckmorton

Mordecai was born about 1695 in Gloucester Co., VA. Mordecai's father was Gabriel Immigrant Throckmorton and his mother was Frances Cook. His paternal grandparents were John Throckmorton and Frances Mason; his maternal grandfather was Mordecai Cooke II and his maternal grandmother is Frances Ironmonger. He had a brother and a sister, named Robert and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died in 1768 in King and Queen Co., Virginia.
