Thomas was born on January 3rd, 1818.  Thomas' father was Isaiah Steele and his mother was Mary Lemasters.  His maternal grandparents were Thomas SCOUT Lemasters and Catherine Thornton. He had a brother named John.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 50 on October 12th, 1868.
