Abner Alexander was born on November 4th, 1768 in SC.  Abner Alexander's father was Aaron Steele and his mother was Violet maybe and or Polk Alexander.  His paternal grandparents were James Aaron Steele and Mary Alexander. He had three brothers and a sister, named Aaron, James, William and Jane/Jean/Jennie.  He died at the age of 73 on July 2nd, 1842 in Greene Co., Al.
