Rev Gilbert Tennant Snowden

Gilbert Tennant was born on April 25th, 1766. Gilbert Tennant's father was Isaac elder of Second Presbyterian church of Philadelphia Snowden and his mother was Mary Cox. His paternal grandparents were John Snowden Jr and Ruth Fitz Randolph; his maternal grandparents are William Cox and Mary Francis. He had four brothers and a sister, named Isaac, Samuel Finley Tenley, Nathaniel Randolph, Charles Tennant Jeffrey Smith and Mary. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Benjamin and Mary. He died at the age of 31 in 1797.
