James Preston Simpson

James Preston was born on May 5th, 1851. James Preston's father was Thomas B Simpson and his mother was Matilda Mattie Hines. His paternal grandparents were William Simpson and Violette Barker; his maternal grandparents were Hines and Nona Roberta Moon. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Jesse Milton, Thomas Meekin, Minerva S , Elizabeth Betty Ann and Vidella Jane. He was the fifth oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 76 on January 7th, 1928.
