George was born on July 5th, 1714 in East Marlborough Twp., Chester Co., Pa.  George's father was Joshua Immigrant Pierce and his mother was Ann Mercer. He had two sisters named Mary and Ann.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 61 on October 2nd, 1775 in Newlin, Chester Co PA.
