Col William Patterson

William was born on March 9th, 1802 in Wythe County, Virginia. William's father was Capt Joseph Patterson and his mother was Jane Walker. His paternal grandparents were William Patterson and Jane Culton; his maternal grandparents were John Walker and Margaret Hudson. He was an only child. He died at the age of 87 on October 3rd, 1889 in Keokuk, Iowa.
