Arahunt Parahunt Shawano was born about 1598 in VA.  Arahunt Parahunt Shawano's father was Chief Wahunsonacock POWHATAN and his mother was Nonoma Winanuske Matatiske.  His paternal grandfather was Ensemore Ensenor Algonkian POWHATAN and his paternal grandmother is Scent Flower Stream. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Tatacoope Shawano, Taux Takkes Shawano, Nantaquaus Nantaquas, Matachannu, Matoaka Pocahontas Pochins Rebecca and Cleopatra the Shawano.  He was the sixth oldest of the seven children.
