John was born on October 20th, 1641 in Sudbury, Mass.  John's father was Richard of Sudbury Newton and his mother is Hannah Loker. He had two brothers named Moses and Daniel.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 81 on October 16th, 1723.
