Johann Jacob was born on March 14th, 1766 in Allemangel, Albary Township, Berks Co., Pa.  Johann Jacob's father was Johann Frederick Immigrant Nester and his mother was Maria Barbara Parbakes.  His paternal grandparents were Frederick Immigrant Nester and Catharina Catherine.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 57 in October 1823 in Patrick Co VA.
