Martha Martin

Martha was born on January 20th, 1744 in VA. Martha's father was Col Joseph Immigrant Martin Gent and her mother was Susannah Giles Childs>>?? Chiles. Her paternal grandparents are William Martin and Ann Cade (POSS); her maternal grandfather is John Henry Chiles (Giles) and her maternal grandmother was Eleanor Webber. She had five brothers and eight sisters, named Brice, George, Joseph Longknife, William, John Jack, Susannah Patience, Mary, Olive, Sarah, Nancy, Martin, unk and Martin. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named John and Ann. She died at the age of 69 on June 20th, 1813 in Henry Co., Virginia.
