James Marshall was born on January 12th, 1889 in Brazoria County, TX.  James Marshall's father is Abner Deathurd Martin and his mother is Nancy Melviney Russell.  His paternal grandparents are Henry Martin and Nellie Ellen Deathurd.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 80 on August 16th, 1969.
