Capt James Martin

James was born on January 20th, 1760 in Chatam Co.,North Carolina. James' father is Zachariah Martin Jr and his mother is Rebecca Brooks. His paternal grandparents are Zachariah Martin Sr and Ann; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Brooks and Virginia Mary Harris. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William, Zachariah, Elijah, John, Josiah, Rachel, Mary, Penelope and Nancy Ann.
