James Martin

James was born on May 1st, 1730 in Amherst, VA. James' father is Capt James Martin and his mother was Elizabeth Crawford. His paternal grandparents are Abraham Martin and Elizabeth Rebecca Bell; his maternal grandparents were Capt David Crawford II and Elizabeth Smith. He had three brothers and a sister, named Azariah, John, William and Sarah Sallie. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 68 on March 5th, 1799 in Madison Co., KY.
