James was born in 1780.  James' father was Col James  Marshel Marshal Marshall Esq and his mother was Mary Marshall.  His paternal grandparents were ???????????? Marshel and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were James Of Drumore  Marshall and Jean Gene Jane poss Lenape Del???. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Robert, John, Samuel?????, Elizabeth, Cynthia, Margaret and Jane.  He died at the age of 25 in 1805.
