Thomas was born on July 1st, 1724.  Thomas' father was Abial Abiel Marshall and his mother was Abiah Hough.  His maternal grandparents are Capt John Hough (HUGHEY (Soundex H200) — See also CAUGHEY, DONAGHEY, DONOHUGH, FITZHUGH, HAUGHEY, HOE, HOEGH, HOEY, HOOE, HOU, HOUEYE, HOUGH, HOW, HOWE, HOY, HOYE, HUEY,) and Sarah GD of John Post.  Samuel Marshall and Rebecca Newberry were his grandparents through his father's adoption. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Abial Abiel, John, Anna, Sara, Sarah and Abiah Abiall.  He was the sixth oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 36 on April 26th, 1761.
