Sarah was born on February 3rd, 1799 in Society Hill, Darlington, SC.  Sarah's father was Adam Marshall and her mother was Mary M Gregg.  Her paternal grandparents were Marshall and Jennet Jannet Gregg; her maternal grandparents were James Gregg and Mary of the Presbyterian Colony in Williamsburg WIlson. She had two brothers and a sister, named Henry Adam, John James and Margaret.  She died at the age of 47 on February 24th, 1846 in Society Hill, Darlington, SC.
